The short version of what I do: I help operations turn messy
or scattered data into systems that actually work — everything from
cleaning up spreadsheet and naming chaos to mapping how an operation needs
to run before anything gets built.
Six questions, and short and rough is fine. It takes a few minutes.
I read every one of these myself and reply personally — not with a
brochure, but with what I think is actually going on.
Question 1 of 6
Tell me about your business — what do you do, and who for?
A couple of sentences is plenty.
Question 2 of 6
Is the business up and running today, or still getting started?
This changes the questions I bring to the conversation, so it is worth
a moment.
Question 3 of 6
What’s the challenge you’re hoping to fix — and what
happened recently that made now the time?
Question 4 of 6
Who deals with it today, and how?
Stories are perfect here — “every Monday, someone re-types
the orders into the second system.”
Question 5 of 6
How often does it come up — a few times a day, weekly, monthly?
Question 6 of 6
Is there a date this needs to be working by?
A real date, a rough season, or “no deadline” — all
useful answers.
Last part
Where should I send my reply?
This goes straight to my inbox and nowhere else.
Before it sends
Here is what I will read.
Change anything that does not sound like you meant it — hit
edit on any line and you will come straight back here.
Nothing is stored on this website — no account, no
tracking, no third-party form service. You send the email yourself on the
next screen, so it comes from your address and my reply goes straight
back to you.
Last step
Send it from your own email.
Your answers are ready. Sending them from your inbox keeps
this personal — my reply comes straight back to you, we can keep the
conversation going, and you can attach anything useful along the way.
The address and subject are already filled in. Paste your
answers, add anything else you want me to see, then send.
Nothing has been submitted through a form, and nothing
is stored on this page. Until you send the email, your answers exist only
on this screen.
No email app on this device? Select the text above and send
it to dusty@messersolutions.dev however you like
— phone, webmail, anything.
Once it lands
I read what you sent and reply personally. You’ll get your
situation played back in plain language, two or three things worth naming
from your answers, and what a first conversation would dig into. If
I’m not the right person for it, I’ll say so and point you
toward a better fit.
If a voice memo, screenshot, spreadsheet, or photo of the whiteboard is
easier than typing, attach it. The messy version is more useful than a
cleaned-up one.
Sending this starts a real email thread. It does not
book a call, start a project, or commit you to anything. We can keep
corresponding until a discovery conversation or Scope session makes
sense.
