The method is not a theory.
Two years ago a business could not open until somebody wrote down how it would run. I wrote the standard operating procedures and the emergency action plan from scratch, an outside reviewer accepted them, and the doors opened. The supervisors who inherited those documents still run on them — and keep improving them without me.
